We are excited to kickoff our 19th year with AWANA.

Our leaders provide an exciting experience that your child will love.  Both children and leaders can’t wait to come on Wednesday nights!  Our goal is to help the children be successful each time they attend and leave knowing more about God than they did when they came.

What is AWANA?

AWANA IS

An evangelism tool to reach children with the Good News of Jesus Christ. A discipleship tool to train children who accept Jesus as Savior to serve Him. An opportunity for parents to invest in the spiritual development of their children. A means to introduce other families to Jesus

AWANA STANDS FOR

Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed which comes directly from 2 Timothy 2:15:

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” (NIV)

AWANA ACCOMLISHES THIS THROUGH:
  • Interesting Handbooks for Bible memory motivated through awards
  • Large Group Bible Study through the “Story of Scripture”
  • Games designed to recognize many different skills (i.e., the fastest, strongest, biggest doesn’t always win)
